A night with the stars! Includes a presentation from Longmont Astronomical Society on the scale of the solar system. We’ll take a journey through our solar neighborhood and learn about the planets and beyond. Once it gets dark, we’ll head outdoors to take a look at the sky. Members of Longmont Astronomical Society will be there with telescopes for viewing. All ages welcome. Registration is required for event.
House opens at 6 p.m. Presentation is appropriate for ages 10+ but families welcome. Free but please register. Suggested donation- $4/person
LAS Members and volunteers will setup in the visitors center parking lot about sunset which is about 7:20 pm. Please let contact LAS star party coordinator if you plan on volunteering.
