Talk preceding star party by Boulder County Parks and Open Space ranger: “Summer is a great time to view the Milky Way, our home galaxy. Where is our solar system in the galaxy? Why do the planets and moon not follow the same path as the stars we see as the Milky Way?“

Join us afterward for stargazing with telescopes provided by the Longmont Astronomical Society. All ages welcome.
