March 27, 2026
Join Boulder County volunteer naturalists for an evening of lunar discovery. Just days after the recent new moon on March 18, the night sky will give us a perfect chance to watch the moon grow brighter night after night. We’ll explore how and why the moon changes shape throughout the month, what to look for in its glow, and how people across the world and across time have used the moon to mark seasons and celebrate traditions.
Presentations will be at the picnic shelter, followed by stargazing in the parking area.
